My Story
My name is Emma Roberts and I have been a criminal reporter for 25 years. During these years, I got to meet with the most notorious criminals and complex individuals alive. I learned that however different we may be from one another, we all share similar fears and frustrations that make us feel lost and quite often lonely and miserable.
My interest was to hear their story and allow for their human side, however monstrous their crimes, to be revealed were. For quite a few their human side was the product of evil forces that took control of them, and others walked me through the memory lane of an abusive childhood in a rough neighborhood that pushed them into crime.
When I was 10 years old my father died in a car accident. I felt that it was my duty to be there for my mother who seemed unhappy and worried. I turned into her confidant and was committed to making her feel she wasn’t alone. At times, it felt as though I was the adult and she was the one going through new dilemmas every day. This turned me into a great listener who makes sense of every confusion and finds the right way to calm and manage any communication, however hysteric and phobic or extremely neurotic.
My experience taught me that everyone needs someone to talk to and that not having that can be at times even dangerous. With this in mind, I formed the organization “ALONE, BUT NEVER LONELY.”
With us you will discover the power and inner strength you have to overcome the stifling fears that rule your life, you will also learn to apply and use this in every situation, the tools will help you feel in control of your feelings and let you go through each situation with a positive outcome.
You won't be sharing a situation that one of us hasn’t been through, and you are not looking for the help that one of us didn’t need at some stage. The journey is demanding but the light at the end of the tunnel is success and security.
